National Parks are the area protected by the Government for natural beauty, animals protection, and protection of the natural environment. Wildlife sanctuaries protect wildlife animals. National parks are protected under the wildlife institute of India.

Madhya Pradesh state has the highest number of national parks in India (i.e. 9 in Number).

The first national park in India was established in 1936.
