Recently MPPSC conducted it's preliminary exam of 2020 in 2021 because of pandemic. Every year prelims conducted in February march.

About MPPSC Exam 

Exam - MPPSC (State Civil Service Examination) - Conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission for various posts in government departments of Madhya Pradesh.

MPPSC Exam Stages - 

This Exam is conducted in three stages 

1. Prelims,

2. Mains and 

3. Interview.

MPPSC Prelims Exam Pattern-

There are two papers in prelims exam both are objective.

1. General Studies

Type ( Objective)

Marks - 200

Time duration - 2 hours

(Note : 100 questions each of 2 marks)

2.General Aptitude

Type - Objective

Marks - 200

Time duration - 2 hours

*Second Paper of prelims exam is only qualifying but it is important for students of forest services.

*Merit for prelims only depends on paper 1 of prelims final merit 

*And final merit of MPPSC exam will depends on mains and Interview

MPPSC Exam Pattern Mains -

There are six papers in MPPSC Mains examination

• GS Paper 1 (History and Geography)

Marks - 300 , Time - 3 hours

• GS paper 2 (Economy and Polity)

Marks - 300, Time - 3 hours

• GS paper 3 (Science and Technology)

Marks- 300 , Time - 3 hours

• GS paper 4 ( Ethics )

Marks - 200 , Time - 3 hours

• Hindi General

Marks - 200 , Time - 3 hours

• Essay in Hindi

Marks - 100 , Time - 2 hours

MPPSC Interview - 

Marks - 175

This is personality test for MPPSC aspirants.

Final Merit = Mains + Interview Marks

From total marks ( 1400+175)

Eligibility for MPPSC Exam

• Education - Students who are Graduated in any stream and Completed age of 21 years are eligible for this examination.
• Age Limit - 21 to 40 for General Category
• Age limit and Relaxation based on government rules.
• For mppsc forest service only science stream students are eligible.
